Jazz Education

SJO members are full-time, professional musicians and dedicated jazz educators. Every band member represents countless hours of experience, education, and study on their instrument. The SJO can conduct clinics, master classes, and workshops on a variety of different topics including improvisation, jazz theory, ear training, and basic music business skills. Sacramento Jazz Orchestra members can provide a clinic as a group or each member can individually conduct master classes on their specific instrument.
